THE LGV LINE PARIS-BORDEAUX

THE LGV LINE PARIS-BO ...

Bordeaux is now only 2h04 from Paris. The new “Ligne à Grande Vitesse (LGV)” (High Speed Train Line) opened on the 2nd July 2017, bringing the south west closer to the big cities of the Parisian Basin.

This new line, with 33 daily return trips between Paris and Bordeaux (from 6am to 9pm) can service up to 35,000 passengers. The gain in time is significant, a 1h10 saving

Other important lines are planned to open, especially between Bordeaux and Toulouse as well as Bordeaux and Bilbao. It is becoming easy to travel far and fast with LGV lines.

You can buy your tickets directly online and check the tariffs on the website www.sncf.com. The ticket fares starts at 25 euros.

The timetable regarding Bordeaux-Paris can be viewed online here! This link will also give you information on the other stations served by the LGV.

Be seduced by the speed of these new trips! Take a small trip to the capital for a shopping day or a tourist excursion with your family or friends! Alternatively have a great day in the streets of Bordeaux and enjoy the south west lifestyle
