The La Brède Castle is the home of Montesquieu. It is a very romantic castle, with its moat, its beautiful lawns and its park with trees. The original moat has been enlarged to form a real lake around the building, which gives it a lot of character. Guided tours of the interiors and the park are organised from March to November. You can also go for evening walks, attend lectures or take part in themed events.
