Three centuries of history: once a royal estate, today it belongs to the Helfrich family. Bastor Lamontagne Castle, located in Preignac, is surrounded by a walled garden of 6 hectares. The 51 hectares of vineyard are in a single plot. The sand and limestone soils impart wonderful energy and finesse to our wines. Certified organic since the 2016 vintage. Bastor Lamontagne Castle, is a modern, innovative and elegant Sauternes.

The Discovery Tour

After your tour, stop by our shop to discover the range of wines produced at the castle. If you're travelling light, we'll be very happy to ship your selection to France or around the world.

Our tours are available in French and in English, with or without reservations (however reservations are recommended).

From October to March: From Monday to Friday 9.00am -1.00pm / 2.00pm - 5.00pm.
From April to May: From Monday to Saturday 10.00am - 1.00pm / 2.00pm - 6.00pm.
From June to September 10.00am - 1.00pm / 2.00pm - 6.00pm.
