    • Jérôme & Nathalie met on the benches of the faculty of oenology. She, guide interpreter and hiking guide wishing to specialize in tasting and winemaking. Him, from a viticultural training, with a great experience in properties in Saumur Champigny and Pomerol.

the wines of Château Boutinet were born from our passion for wine first and from love at first sight. But also an irresistible impulse towards old stones that lack neither charm nor personality. Château Boutinet is a wine estate producing wines in organic farming, AOC Bordeaux, Clairet de Bordeaux, 2 red wines and white aged in amphora. The estate is located in Villegouge, in the Fronsadais. It consists of 27 hectares of vineyards, woods and meadows.

Since 2011, it's been happiness. A feeling they want to share with you. To visit Boutinet is to taste a Bordeaux wine in all simplicity, to walk on foot, to learn about Bordeaux wines, to taste Tapas, to practice Yoga... It is a real immersion in the heart of their vineyard.

We enjoyed the most magnificent evening in the company of our charming hosts Nathalie and Jerome. We started with a tour of the farm enjoying the forest and fields of the area. We were then treated to to a wonderful tapas style pairing and wine tasting experience. There is something sublime about sitting under their oak trees next to the vineyards drinking their lovely wine and watching the sun set. Heaven. Nathalie and Jerome are dedicated, warm and generous people whose passion for wine and their land is fantastic. What a treat. Thank you to them for letting us into their world for a few hours. The highlight of our entire trip.

I had a wonderful visit here with this lovely couple, their wines are very nice and a great value. I had the opportunity to taste the claret from the tank and then taste the entire range From bottles. I highly recommend a visit!

Jerome is a gentleman and great company who makes superb wine with his family Try the oak casked claret in Jerome’s office in their perfectly ruined chateau. Prices perfect, quality par excellence.
