This User Forest of Teste-de-Buch allows the inhabitants of the surrounding municipalities to provide themselves with firewood. It was also used for traditional gemmage, that is to say, the removal of resin from pine trees. You will still see typical cabins and some “bottle pines”, vestiges of this practice.
