Campsite Le Maine Blanc - 1 star Campsites, Mobile Homes in Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye

We introduce ourselves, Franck and Isabelle, new owners since January 11, 2021 of Campsite Le Maine Blanc in Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye. Originally from the North, we chose Maine Blanc for our first experience in outdoor accommodation. We want to revitalize the campsite and give it a youthful glow.

The LE MAINE BLANC campsite is located in Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye in Gironde, in New-Aquitaine, a region which provides an almost endless variety of landscapes. It is located at 900 m from the pond, 900 m from the lake, in the forest. For your weekends or camping holidays in France, discover this 1-star campsite which offers pitches or mobile home rentals. The campsite team welcomes you all year round in a family and relaxed atmosphere, on a wooded site of around 3 hectares, in a natural, calm and pleasant setting, where caravan and motorhome pitches are located, tents, pitches delimited by hedges, shaded or unshaded according to your convenience and availability. It is possible to rent mobile homes for the comfort of young and old.

For your aquatic leisure activities, there is a large open-air swimming pool on site. You will also find a playground, a playground for children, board games are to be requested at reception, the book box at reception (reading book in French and English), a Ping pong table. The pitches, from 80 to 120 m², are shaded or sunny depending on your preference. You can set up your tent, your caravan or your motorhome, or rent a mobile home.

If you don't feel like cooking, the campsite has a snack bar (small menu, in high season). (If sanitary conditions allow us), and why not, after your meal, leave for a cellar visit in Blayais, Côtes de Bordeaux or Côtes de Bourg, followed by a tasting. If you feel like it, you can always have a good hot pizza delivered directly to the campsite (flyer at reception).

At the campsite, you can also order fresh bread or pastries (croissants, chocolate bread)... You can also surf the Internet, explanations for the connection will be given to you on your arrival at reception. The little extra, discover the nearby lake where many water games, swimming, pedal boats, fishing, canoeing... await you!

40 km north of Bordeaux in Haute Gironde, Le Maine Blanc campsite is located in Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye, near the Gironde estuary. From the citadel of Blaye (15 minutes from the campsite), listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco, enjoy the view of the islands of the Estuary. Also stop off at "Terres d'oiseaus", an ornithological park on the banks of the Gironde.
