  Excellent welcome. Very good atmosphere. Everything is done to have a good time (lake, canoeing, swimming, paddleboarding, etc.) in a pleasant setting. We feel that campers are really welcome.

  We, a couple with our dog, stayed here for five nights. It was purely to relax in peace and quiet. It's quiet here in the late season. We only have five campers at a time. It's lovely to sit under the oak trees, listening to the birds. We were lucky with the weather and were able to swim in the small lake with our dog. Normally, dogs aren't allowed there. Unfortunately, there was no cleaning during our entire stay. Not very hygienic. There are only five toilets, all WITHOUT TOILET SEATS. Why? There is a shower for people with disabilities, with a higher toilet seat. The showers are reasonable. Not all have the best water pressure, and on the second day there was no hot water. This was fixed immediately after we reported it. You don't really see the owners. The wife comes once upon arrival. The husband comes every evening to ask if you want bread, which he leaves at your caravan the next morning. That's nice. There's not much to do in the immediate area. Supermarket 8km away. A visit to Saint Émillion or Château Gort & Gort is definitely worthwhile. The latter is closed from early September to mid-October due to harvest season. Bergerac and Bordeaux are at least an hour's drive away. We thought that was a bit far. Visit this campsite? Perfect for two nights. Otherwise, only if you don't mind the fact that the sanitary facilities aren't cleaned in the off-season and the snack bar, etc., is already closed. The dishwashing area is also dated. Too low, sloped, creating a water splatter and lukewarm water. It's a shame, because if the campsite were given a bit more attention, it would be a very pleasant place to stay for a week.
