 Les Domaines de la Parrhesia: a Green Bubble on the new low-carbon wine route in Graves and Sauternes.

The Domaines de la Parrhesia are part of the Bulle Verte network, which offers slow-tourism packages with walking and cycling trails, 9 of which are located on the Graves and Sauternes Wine Route, for a new, responsible and relaxed way of getting around. Their itineraries, which you can do at your own pace with a web app you can download to your cell phone in a matter of seconds at the property, will first take you on a journey back in time from Châteaux Couloumey, which will open up its Gallo-Roman basins, its park where you'll come across King Louis XIV's hunting itinerary, and its charming 18thᵉ century charterhouse. 

You'll then lose yourself in the woods, following the banks of the Gât Mort where you'll become acquainted with the flora and fauna that line streams that are almost untouched by man, all the way to Château le Tuquet.

At Château le Tuquet, after encountering the work of Victor Louis (architect of Bordeaux's Grand Théâtre, among other buildings), who escaped the French Revolution, and crossing the path of Charles de Foucauld, you'll meet up with the owners, who will share their neo-winegrowing passion with you as you tour their cellars.

Then it's off to Château Couloumey through vineyards and wheat fields, where you'll learn about grape varieties, the Graves terroir and the Journel family's very own way of cultivating vines in a way that is genuinely respectful of the environment.

Once you've arrived at Château Couloumey, after a 2.30-hour tour, you'll round off this wonderful half-day in style, with a tasting of the estate's wines for adults and its grape juices for children, offered by the owners. And, from spring 2024, if you want to extend the moment, La Guinguette du Tuquet will welcome you for a bucolic and festive moment.

Prices range from €20 to €25 for adults, depending on the number of wines tasted, €15 for children aged 5 to 18, and free for children under 5.
