In the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park, in Mios, live an unforgettable experience on the Leyre delta. Located between Bordeaux and Arcachon, T sur Leyre takes you by canoe or kayak through the magnificent gallery forest, to discover the fauna and flora. These are 115 km of river that you can cross for a day or half a day. Morning or afternoon, choose the time you prefer and set off to meet 300 species of birds in a protected area, a Natura 2000 classified site. A free shuttle takes you to the starting point, then it's up to you to paddle 9 or 20 km in a haven of peace and tranquility. Outings for children are organized and perfectly supervised with a benevolent animator, to celebrate a birthday or a special event. The environment is favored and protected on the T sur Leyre site, which preserves the biodiversity of species all year round with a committed ecological approach. On the Leyre as in the associated tree climbing park, nature is valued and respected. The refreshment bar is open from April, offering organic and local snacks as well as drinks served in ecocups. Once restored and rested, you can enjoy the beach by the river, the perfect place for an impromptu swim. A second park, Le Birabeille, about a hundred meters away, is accessible by following the signs, a wild and quiet communal space, entirely pedestrian and secure.
