    • Owners since 2014, Thomas and Pélagie welcome you to the Campsite of the Old Castle in Rauzan in Gironde in a calm and green setting at the foot of a medieval castle, which gives magic to the place.

Independent campsite, Member of the association of Campsites La Via Natura, the site is labeled "Camping Qualité", "Qualité Tourisme" and "Vineyards and Discoveries".

35 km from Bordeaux and 13 km from Saint Emilion in the heart of Bordeaux vineyards, this charming campsite n 'is only 200m from the village accessible on foot by the covered way. It is an ideal central point for discovering the many activities of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region (Bordeaux, Arcachon, Bergerac, the Dordogne, the Dune of Pilat…).

In a 2.6 hectare park, the large semi-shaded pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes are appreciated by holidaymakers who can rest quietly and enjoy nature.

The rental of mobile homes, chalets, bungalies tents, Campétoiles perched tents, the Alcove ready to camp and the atypical Truck, well maintained, also allow you to find peace and rest.

The large heated swimming pool and the paddling pool welcome young and old, the sauna accessible all season. The campsite is family-friendly par excellence with activities and excursions suitable for everyone.

In high season, the snack bar is open in the evening in July-August allowing you to eat on site. Friendly festive evenings are offered on Thursday evenings and end at 10 p.m. to preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the campsite.

It's a camp site in a lovely place, very clean and tidy, not expensive and walking distance to the village. Snack bar only in high season but that's fine, there are places to eat close by. Very friendly and helpful staff. I didn't see the rental mobile homes but if they are as good as the rest then they will be good value.

Beautifully kept site . Immaculate - new - facilities, swimming pool, and very peaceful. Very close to the ruined chateau, and short walk to the village. Only negative concerns the paucity of shops/ bars etc nearby - but there is a Vivaldi convenience store. Ideal site for a quiet getaway, or as a stopover

Slightly bigger site than we'd normally go for. The chicken nuggets they sell are really good. WiFi is extortionate, very poor phone signal so feels like they are taking advantage. We've travelled Europe for the last 4 months and the largest weekly WiFi cost was €5. That will only get you 1 device for 48hrs here 😳
