    • Nestled at the top of a hill, surrounded by its vineyards and protected by its century-old trees, La Maison Groleau is a confidential and preserved place just 35 minutes from attractive Bordeaux. The wine estate has been in the family for almost 200 years; a long history that we; Guillaume and Pierre-Louis, continue today by transforming the house into guest rooms and table d'hôtes, while Guillaume's sister continues the production of award-winning wines on site.

Everything has been thought out to welcome you to a unique place, conducive to disconnection, well-being and rest with the desire to share and transmit this beautiful story. Here it is the "slow life", experience and authenticity that prevail.

For your comfort we have imagined generous and bright volumes staged by a personal decoration in assertive tones; an eclectic mix of family furniture, pieces sourced from around the world and more contemporary elements.

The spacious rooms, with breathtaking views of the Bordeaux vineyards, offer absolute comfort with top-of-the-range bedding, soft and silky bed and bath linen as well as natural and artisanal soaps and shampoos. It is the assurance of a restful sleep and a resolutely relaxing stay by taking advantage of this parenthesis of calm to recharge your batteries (children are welcome from 14 years old).

Do you want to telecommute from home before you can fully enjoy your weekend? No problem, we have provided an office space in each room to take advantage of the fiber via a Wifi connection or directly by Ethernet cable.

During your stay in the countryside, stroll through the vineyards, relax in the living room, read a book by the pool, indulge in a well-deserved siesta in the shade of the umbrella pine before going to take a Take a look at Pierre Louis's flea market set up in an annex to the house. And then, as the sun begins to set, take the time to savor an interval of tranquility in the garden around the estate's wines and Bordeaux tapas.

As good epicureans, it was obvious to invite you to sit at our "friendly table" for a simply gourmet and warm moment. With Guillaume in the kitchen, self-taught and passionate, our table d'hôtes offers authentic, eco-responsible cuisine, inspired by the region and influenced by our years spent in Asia. At the same time, we have selected gourmet products from local and committed artisans, to eat on the spot or to take away in your luggage.

The house and its grounds obviously lend themselves to the organization of private, intimate, important or professional events.

We look forward to meeting you.

Superb stay at Maison Groleau! The room "Pin" was modern, large and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed breakfasts and a dinner prepared by Guillaume ably supported by Pierre Louis. Thank you gentlemen!

We loved being Guillaume and Pierre’s guests for four days. We wish we have stayed longer. The Maison is beautiful and decorated with attention to detail. The bed is super comfy, the breakfast was great and so was the dinner from Guillaume (plenty vegetarian options for breakfast and completely vegetarian dinner on request). The pool is a nice addition to a relaxing stay. The hosts are super nice and had lots of recommendations for us to discover around. Thank you, we will come back again!

Guillaume is a great cook, and he and Pierre Louis are absolutely wonderful hosts. Dinner and breakfast were very good, with well-selected and well-prepared local food and drink. Maison Groleau is amazingly well restored, modern and comfortable yet with great respect for the building. We very much enjoyed our stay.
