  Unmaintained grounds, dirty restrooms. The site's roads are almost impassable with caravans due to numerous potholes and densely growing trees. Many sites are sandy.

  We can't confirm the negative review. The spacious and large campsite is located in the middle of a beautiful pine forest by the lake, the birds chirp in the morning, and the people are friendly. We even saw a deer. There's a small restaurant with a beach volleyball court, bike and pedal boat rentals, etc. However, I can imagine that the young lady at the reception desk isn't very experienced and therefore complicates some things a bit. We weren't allowed to look at the pitches beforehand because she couldn't tell if they were already reserved. Instead, she had to choose a number from the map, even though we'd never been there. Afterward, we could have changed if we didn't like it. Okay, they could also tell us which pitches are generally available for our vehicle and then look at which area we'd like to be in. Then we could set the numbers... It had been raining heavily for days, and the dirt on the ground and in the showers was simply higher, AND it's the people who are the pigs if you go in after them! The cleaning lady isn't there all the time, but only during cleaning hours. The restrooms were perfectly fine, though! Always warm showers, and the shop has everything you need. Due to the weather, there weren't many people there, so half of the changing rooms were closed, which is perfectly normal. We had a great time and were able to relax, despite the bad weather. We would come again. P.S. Bring your own toilet paper, as there isn't any extra ;)

  I had an unforgettable stay at Camping du Tedey in Lacanau, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment you arrive, the reception welcomes you with a smile and a warmth that immediately sets the tone: it's a great place to be. The service is impeccable, and the team is attentive and full of good advice. Both the private and shared spaces are impeccably maintained; you can feel the hard work of all the teams to offer vacationers an unforgettable summer by the lake, in what can only be called a real campsite, authentic and friendly. Tranquility is guaranteed thanks to the Serenity team, always present and attentive to ensure everyone's safety, ensuring a peaceful stay. A big thank you to the waiters and bartenders at Sunrise, the campsite's only bar/restaurant, but certainly not the least. Special mention to the entertainment team: energetic, cheerful, and cheerful... they manage to engage young and old alike in a variety of activities (pilates, paddleboarding, pétanque, treasure hunts, and more) while integrating each child with kindness and attention. A real plus for a family vacation. In short, a real gem: an exceptional natural setting, a warm atmosphere, and an on-site team that truly enhances this unique place. Thank you all!
