- Guided tours in the heart of the Teich Ornithological Reserve
  Activities are organized in all seasons in the Teich Ornithological Reserve, to allow novices and enthusiasts alike to discover the landscapes of the Arcachon Basin, up close to wild birds. The naturalist guides of the Maison de la Nature will accompany you on a route of approximately 4 km, where you will be able to discover the Reserve, its history and its natural riches. Equipped with autofocus binoculars, you will set off for a walk of approximately 3 hours.
  
  In all seasons
  Guided tours are scheduled in the morning during all school holidays. Lasting approximately 3 hours, these walks are an opportunity to meet the birds of the moment, to decode their behavior and to appreciate the crucial role that the Reserve plays in their protection. In July and August, tours are also scheduled at dusk, starting at 8 p.m. A unique opportunity to discover the Reserve at special times.
  
  Practical Information
  All visitors will be equipped with autofocus binoculars for better bird watching. Guided tours last approximately 3 hours, ensuring a complete immersion in nature. Access tickets to the Reserve are valid all day, allowing the more curious to extend the visit!

Instead of birds we faced to a "BOAR" 🐗, it looked at us in the eyes for about 10 seconds we had about 8 meters between the boar and us. Luckily it decided to go away because instead of running or trying to scare it we stayed calm and looked at it without moving. This was the right behavior but what if a person would try to run without knowing that is not the correct behavior. People might get attacked by Boars. And we tried to find the exit to leave which there was no sign except when we were very very close to exit. So if the boar would choose to attack us we didn't have anywhere to hide, just a muddy path. We informed the person who sold the tickets to us and she was like "yeah we have some boars and hunters are trying to kill them sometimes" and then we asked, isn't it dangerous? She said "yeah litle bit" she really didn't care about it at all and definitely won't worn other people either. They will wait until someone get injured and sue them I think. So if you wanna be bored and BOARED I reccomend to go this place.

A very interesting place for birdwatching. A bit pricey. Entrance is €10. But you need about 4 hours to see it properly. Next time I'll go with more time.
