Classified as a Historic Monument in 2006, the castle and the park overlooking the Garonne were built in 1917 for the industrialist François Thévenot.
The exceptional park, planted with cedars, sequoias, magnolias, etc... is populated with numerous remarkable statues. Bequeathed to the municipality, the Chavat Park is, since 1999, the public garden of the commune
