Upon arriving at the Bordeaux-Pessac Zoo, I was immediately struck by the lush, green setting. The welcome was pleasant, and the staff took the time to provide directions if needed. I particularly enjoyed seeing the giraffes and lions; their enclosures were clean and well-designed. The paths were easy to navigate, and there were plenty of places to relax. You can tell the place is meticulously maintained. I had a wonderful time there with my family; it was truly enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

I was very disappointed by my visit to the zoo. The animals seemed thin and stressed, some exhibiting worrying repetitive behaviors, giving the impression that they weren't being properly cared for, which was truly sad to see. Furthermore, upon leaving, my companions and I were ignored by two staff members (a man and a woman), despite our repeated greetings, while they were busy responding to other visitors. Their cold and unwelcoming attitude deeply disturbed us and made me feel discriminated against. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience, and I wouldn't recommend this visit to anyone who wants to see animals in good conditions and be treated with respect.
