  We spent two wonderful days as a couple at Maison Fernand. Ahmed is a welcoming and discreet host, and he offered excellent advice for exploring Bordeaux and its best spots. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and very well-equipped. We especially loved the huge, charmingly retro-style shower room. We also thoroughly enjoyed the French-style breakfast on the small terrace overlooking the square: a simple and delightful way to start the day. A truly charming place where you feel right at home. We will gladly return!

  We stayed here for three nights and booked the suite. It was very spacious and tastefully decorated with many thoughtful details. The bathroom was also large with a generously sized shower. Breakfast was typical for France, but nothing extraordinary. The staff member's helpfulness and advice were particularly noteworthy. She gave us many tips and made restaurant reservations for us. Since there's a bar across the street where many young people hang out, it can be quite noisy at night. Closing the windows makes it manageable. Another issue is the very narrow staircase, which is quite a challenge with luggage. A significant drawback is the cost of parking in the underground garage if you arrive by car. We paid €25 per day. The B&B doesn't have its own parking spaces. All in all, it's a nice place to stay, but I don't think the price is justified.
