  We found this place by biking and came back next day immediately. The temperature of water is great and the water is cleaner comparing to lac d’Hourtin slightly in the north. Idéal place for small children to play because there is little waves (only when small motor boats passing by) as well as for adults to practice some basic nautical sports - we tried the stand up paddle and we love it. Great experience and we would definitely come back in summer!!

  It was nice to sit under a tree in the shadow, but you can choose to sit on the sand as well. There was a lot of shallow water, nice for the kids to play in. In deeper water I saw feet long striped fishes, often quickly hiding under the sand! I did see some garbage though, it would be nice if people would take everything with them. There were free toilets by the way, but bring your own toiletpaper.

  Great alternative to coastal beach. Water is warm calm and shallow. Great for small children. Food and bars along the roadside. Water sports rental on site.
