We all know oysters ! They find their place every year on our holiday tables. But before being served on a bed of ice, three long years passed. On the Port of Larros in Gujan-Mestras, the Maison de l'Huître invites you to discover this exceptional product, the Pearl of the Basin...
A one-hour visit in three stages: screening of the film "The Life of the Oyster" (we discover the daily life of our oyster farmers), guided tour in the different scenographic spaces (reproduction, farming techniques, species, etc. ...), without forgetting the free discovery of the outdoor route with the traditional boats, the oyster farming equipment of yesteryear, the limed tiles, all harmoniously staged in the heart of the vegetation specific to the Arcachon Bay.
You will no longer taste oysters the same way!
