The ocean beaches of the Gironde stretch along the Atlantic coast from Pointe de Grave to the gates of Biscarosse-Plage. They can be distinguished from the beaches of the great lakes of the Médoc: Lakes of Hourtin and Lacanau. The most significant of the Gironde landscape are:
• Plage Océane is the first of the Gironde beaches. It begins at Pointe de Grave in the mouth of the Gironde and faces the Cordouan Lighthouse , set on its sandbank at sea.
• Pin Sec Beach is a very long beach stretching as far as the eye can see. from the naturist beach of Montalivet, to the North beach of Lacanau. It is very wild and it is a famous surf spot. You will be dazzled by the exceptional luminosity of this white sand beach of the "Silver Coast".
• The Plage du Truc Vert on the Cap-Ferret peninsula is bordered by the beautiful forest estate of “Ferret”.
• The Mirador Beach at the Pointe du Cap Ferret for its breathtaking view of the Banc d'Arguin and the Dune du Pyla. This is the spot for photographers!
• Robinson Beach below the Dune du Pyla and facing the Banc d'Arguin.
