- In the Blayais, near the mouth of the Gironde, the Moron Natural Site is a protected area for the flora and fauna typical of the area around the estuary. The meeting between the Garonne and the Dordogne, at the Bec d'Ambès , which forms the mouth of the Gironde, is a favorite place for birdlife. The Moron site benefits from the influx of birds and is a very pleasant observation site. You can relax by the lake, but also fish, play sports on its fitness trail or hike there.
