    • The Château du Tasta, a charming residence.

Le Tasta is a noble house built in the 18th century on a mound in the middle of the vineyards. The comfortable charm of this residence and its exceptional view are the great assets of this unique and peaceful place 15 minutes from the city centre of Bordeaux and 12 minutes from the station.

To the east, the building opens onto an enclosed garden surrounded by a rubble wall with a well and stone outbuildings. A magnificent 18th century gate reveals a wooded park with a small baroque pool and a centuries-old cedar tree where dwarf hens, royal turkeys and ornamental geese live together.

To the south a stone staircase leads down to a meadow, also surrounded by a rubble wall. Along the stables you can access through a small wrought iron gate on the west side of the house. An adorable vegetable garden rich in forgotten vegetables overlooking the vines shelters an arbour covered with flowers.

A small wooden staircase leads to the contemporary and refined side of the Château du Tasta : a 6 x 12 swimming pool, large terraces in Ipé and deactivated concrete, stainless steel railings, large bay windows, shade sails, a huge pool house with barbecue... The view on the west side of Bordeaux offers exceptional sunsets between the bell tower of Camblanes and the bell tower of Quinsac and brings charm, luxury and serenity.

This was the best. We stayed with Caroline, Benoit and Nessy during June 2023 in the 1900 and 1960 rooms and had a great time. The house, pool / garden and surrounds are beautiful, breakfast was amazing, it was very easy to drive into Bordeaux, and there were many nice towns, restaurants and châteaus within a 10 minute drive

Caro, Benoit and Nessy are exceptional hosts. In my 3 nights stay @Chateau du Tasta they helped me with my restaurant, beach, wine tasting,... choices. Furthermore, we had good chats about life and wine ;) I could go on and on but I would recommend you visit this exceptional place by yourself and find peace like me ;) florian

Very beautiful Place! What a pity that the owners are not very friendly! We didn’t felt welcome and on the day of check out they didn’t wanted us to stay in the accommodation pass check out time (at noon) so although we had to do home office that we decided to leave because we felt very unwelcome.
