Cap Sciences, a center for scientific, technical and industrial culture (CCSTI), is located on the banks of the Garonne, at the foot of the Jacques-Chaban-Delmas bridge, in Hangar 20 of the Bacalan district. Founded in 1994 as an association and inaugurated in 1995, it has established itself as the leading center for science and discovery for the entire Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

Entirely dedicated to science and technology, the center offers interactive exhibitions, educational activities, and lectures accessible to all ages, with specific areas for toddlers, 6-12 year olds, and 8-14 year olds. As a bonus, the Science Café and its suspended terrace offer one of the most beautiful views of the Port of the Moon and the Chaban-Delmas Bridge.
