Les Vivres de l'Art Museums in Bordeaux

On the Bacalan docks, in the Bassins à Flot district, Les Vivres de l'Art is an association founded in 2008 by the sculptor Jean-François Buisson, housed in two former naval supply depots, unique buildings listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. Both a project to rehabilitate a historical landmark bearing witness to the city's port past and an artistic hub focused on contemporary creation, the site brings together artists' studios, a gallery, a public square redesigned as "Open B'Art," and a community garden.

A transdisciplinary association that places the artist at the heart of its concerns, Les Vivres de l'Art hosts exhibitions, concerts and forums, with the main vocation of connecting artists and promoting their encounter with the public.
