Égrégore Gallery is an associative art gallery in Lot-et-Garonne, in the heart of New Aquitaine. This rural artistic setting welcomes you in the heart of a protected area of 27 hectares, classified by the Conservatory of Natural Spaces of New Aquitaine. You will be able to come and admire works by international and emerging artists under 300-year-old pines and in an exceptional barn, restored into an art gallery. Equipped with 24 crèches, its last rehabilitation dates back to 1941.
The site is steeped in history, occupied since the Neolithic era, vestiges of this period remain in the heart of the forest. Near the car park, you can walk along part of a cleared Roman road. Finally, the estate includes many memories of the Protestant stronghold that it was, belonging to Captain Souliès, from whom it takes its name, comrade-in-arms of Henri IV: Remarkable entrance pillars of the old estate, oven bread from the beginning of the 17th century, Dovecote with stone staircase from 1602.
After 10 years of existence in Marmande, and more than 250 artists exhibited, the gallery welcomes you from Wednesday to Sunday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. from April to November in Casteljaloux-La-Réunion.
One Sunday a month, the gallery offers a free cultural event (performances, concerts, conferences, readings…): The Sundays of Egregore.
The gallery provides a welcome and personalized mediation for individual visitors as well as families, cultural social groups and schoolchildren.
