It was in Mios, a small town in the Bordeaux region, that Babeth opened a friendly family riding club 30 years ago. Located less than half an hour from Arcachon near Biganos, she works with her daughter, a rider and teacher, to pass on her passion. Grab your helmets and boots, and let's go for a ride.

Horseback riding, there is something for everyone and for all levels at the Mios Equestrian Center. From 2 and a half years old, children can climb on the back of a pony and ride around the property, held by their parent. The 30-minute excursion allows the little ones to follow a pretty stream and walk along the bamboo. From 12 years old, older children can escape to the forest, on horseback or pony, for a 1 to 2 hour ride at a walk, trot or gallop depending on their level. Thanks to qualified and passionate teachers, children will be immersed in the atmosphere of the club and will take care of their mount after each ride.

Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you can practice horse riding. With a 450 m2 indoor riding school, 3 large arenas, 3 cross-country courses and a galloping track, there is plenty to have fun with when you are a rider. One-hour lessons are given all year round, while courses are organized during each school holiday and during the summer to improve your skills. Dressage, vaulting, horse-ball, cross-country or pony-game, many disciplines are offered and can be discovered during themed courses.
