It's not exactly a luxury 5, but rather a four-plus, but compared to the many hotels in the area, it's definitely one of the best. Excellent location, within walking distance of the city center, impeccable staff. Breakfast selection could be improved.

The room and location was standard - I wouldn’t give it a 5 star but definitely a strong 4 star. Facilities were okay & everything was clean and accessible which is what we needed for a short stay. Again, it was just standard for the price. Unfortunately the bar staff particularly the lady was very unkind and spoke badly in front of me in French thinking I could not understand. I did not act upon her comments. Unfortunately, she rolled her eyes a couple of times at us when we passed her. Not sure why - maybe she had a bad day that day? In any case, best not to take it out on guests who were being respectful. Overall I wouldn’t choose this hotel again unfortunately.

TL;DR: Overall, despite the good location and attractive design, the service, noise issues, and unprofessional attitude made this a very unpleasant experience. Our experience was nowhere near 5-star level. The biggest issue was the attitude of Indira at reception. We parked the car ourselves in the parking garage and did not require valet service, yet she insisted that we leave our car keys at reception. For legal and personal reasons, we were not comfortable doing so. She repeatedly referred to “hotel policy,” despite the fact that this requirement was mentioned nowhere on the website, Booking.com, or during our communication when reserving the parking. Her attitude was arrogant and condescending. What was especially frustrating is that a very simple solution existed: staff could simply verify whether the car was parked correctly so there would be no need to move it and leaving the car keys with them. In the end, I was the one who suggested this solution, not the hotel staff. That alone says a lot about the lack of professionalism and flexibility. Even worse was her attitude afterwards. During the rest of our stay, whenever we entered the hotel and greeted her and other hotel staff, she would not even look at us or acknowledge us. Completely unacceptable behavior for someone working at the front desk of a luxury hotel. The room itself, while modern, felt claustrophobic because of the ceiling design. It was also located opposite a housekeeping room. Every time housekeeping opened their door it created a loud noise that echoed into our room. We mentioned this issue several times to both housekeeping and reception, yet absolutely nothing was done. The problem could probably have been solved simply by oiling the door. Instead, we were woken up every morning by the noise and loud conversations from staff in the hallway. Sound insulation in general is very poor. What made us even more uncomfortable was seeing, through the peephole, a maid apparently listening at our door despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being on. Very strange and unprofessional behavior. To make matters worse, one of the elevators was broken and would not stop at our floor during the stay. Worth mentioning: Jérôme and the female intern at reception were friendly and professional.
