Mixed feelings about this hotel: - The rooms are clearly on the outdated side, like the bathroom (old-fashioned bathtub shower with a high rim; this is not suitable for everyone). Spacious beds for us, though—two separate ones—but no power outlets next to the beds. - The breakfast: suddenly at 9:30, the young woman mentions that there are no more slices of bread (it was a kind of multigrain, which was actually the tastiest), only baguette left. To my knowledge, for a four-star hotel, I find this scandalous. - Good location, but trams cause noticeable vibrations in the room. Not always easy to sleep in! And it wakes you up too. - good cleaning staff there, though; that was fine.

I loved my room, and I requested a balcony and the kind man at reception gave me one. The hotel is in the most central beautiful location. Close to everything. Perfect stay.

Upon arrival at the Hôtel de Normandie Bordeaux, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from the staff and the lovely fragrance wafting through the lobby. The room was cozy and very quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the city. Everything about this hotel contributes to making you feel comfortable and at home. I highly recommend it for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Bordeaux.
