Domaine de la Parrhésia, two must-see châteaux near Bordeaux

We're talking about two châteaux when we talk about Domaine de la Parrhésia. Château de Couloumey and Château Le Tuquet, these two properties are separated by just 1 km, giving visitors the opportunity to discover two magnificent Bordeaux chartreuses. Located in the heart of the Graves vineyards, you'll find them on the banks of the Garonne in Beautiran, 40 minutes from Bordeaux. Escape to an exceptional place to taste quality wine.

Domaine de la Parrhésia, châteaux open to visitors all year round in Beautiran

Since 2022, Delphine and Guillaume have been delighted to welcome you to Domaine de la Parrhésia for fun, gourmet tours of the vineyards. Every Saturday from 12:30 to 5:30 pm, Château Le Tuquet opens its doors for a free tour of the winery. Take the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent Parc du Tuquet, surrounded by woods and clearings ideal for outdoor picnics. You can even book a lunch on the grass with the winegrowers, a basket filled with local, seasonal produce. In the afternoon, scan the QR code to escape on the green bubble trail, a 2h30 itinerary that takes you on a discovery of the history of châteaux and vines.

Guided tours and tastings are organized on request, a great way to appreciate the estate and its history in close contact with the winemakers. Château de Couloumey and Château Le Tuquet: despite their close proximity, these two Bordeaux chartreuses tell you about a very special past, between one that was a hunting lodge for the kings of France and the second whose façade was designed by architect Victor Louis. Appreciate the beauty of the stonework before entering the respective estate stores. The wine on offer is fine, racy and typical of the Graves region. Taste with your eyes closed, they are made by passionate producers.
