I would not recommend this venue as a bride. Despite the beautiful setting, the staff who manage events and rentals for this venue are completely unprofessional! They showed a serious lack of organization, with appointments made but forgotten by the staff member. When we were conducting the inventory, we reported some malfunctions in the bathrooms. The person in charge of the inventory (the rental manager) told us: "Given that you have a price, you're not going to be picky!" The walls of the venue are faded and the restrooms are poorly maintained (rust drips into the toilet bowls, blackened grout around the sinks, and trash cans with rusty lids). The venue itself has white drapes on the ceiling; if they weren't covered in stains everywhere, they add a certain charm to the venue. We booked this venue in 2023 for our wedding, which took place on June 28, 2025. The walls had just been repainted. Currently, the walls are not maintained and are looking faded. The employee at the time informed me that the air conditioning was broken, but that the repair would be done before the wedding. However, we were surprised the day before the wedding to learn that there was apparently no air conditioning. It was impossible to fully privatize the venue because the boutique was open at the same time as the reception hall. On the morning of the wedding, we even saw visitors coming to see what was going on in the venue. The day before the wedding, we were pleasantly surprised to discover wooden picnic tables on the green space reserved for the rented area, because they were holding a reception the day before. We received a completely inappropriate response when we asked to remove them. "WE'LL SEE WHAT WE CAN DO, OTHERWISE DO IT YOURSELF." From the rental manager. The day before, we asked the person who manages the rental where the air conditioning control was located, and they told me that there had never been any air conditioning (although a guest who works in this professional environment confirmed that it was indeed a reversible heating/air conditioning system). Given the scorching temperatures of the weekend of June 28, 2025, the temperature was simply unbearable. Our guests had to juggle between the dishes served at the table and then leave immediately. Due to these uncertain conditions, no one felt unwell, including elderly people and those with illnesses. If you ever want to book this reception venue, we strongly advise against it! For those who have already booked it, be very careful! Our wedding reception was unfortunately ruined because of this venue! Amélie & Axel (June 28, 2025)

The museum was interesting, but the young woman in charge of giving us wine tastings and advice didn't know enough about her subject! What a shame!

I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU AGAINST IT. We rented the reception hall and the apartment for my daughter's wedding which took place this weekend. The toilets are not well maintained (black joints, rust installed in the bowl where the water drains) the walls of the room are faded, not repainted since 2023. The rental service is unprofessional (forgetting appointments, letting you go into the room with your decorator while another wedding is being prepared), bordering on haughty. The room is not air-conditioned (I was told the opposite). If you want to rent this place - Get married in winter! Due to the stifling heat this weekend, my daughter's wedding was marred by this problem (fainting with loss of consciousness). The wine museum is open on weekends so it is impossible to privatize the place. An apartment was created (well-appointed, by the way) without air conditioning or a fan, and you can't access it until 4 p.m. on Saturday! We were also unpleasantly surprised to find, when we handed over the keys, the picnic tables used during the "Thursday evening winegrowers' aperitifs" in our part of the park, with an inadequate response from the rental service (I'll see what I can do, otherwise you can remove them and put them wherever you want!!!!). In short, you'll understand, we had a very bad experience at this venue. My only fault: having trusted them!! I think the Maison des Vins de Cadillac should invest so that future receptions go as smoothly as possible for their guests.
