Vitishow Visit the Vineyards / Oenotourism in Lignan-de-Bordeaux

A one-hour tour of the Château de Seguin winery. Group visits only, between 5 and 30 people.

THE CHÂTEAU

Located 20 minutes from Bordeaux, in the heart of the village of Lignan-de-Bordeaux, Château de Seguin is a 175-hectare wine estate, including 90 hectares of vines.
In the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, Château de Seguin produces a range of red wines from 5 grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Concerned about the environment, the château is currently undergoing conversion to organic farming, and has also been awarded the "Haute Valeur Environnementale" certificate.

VISIT

Discover the château's imposing vat room, capable of handling the entire harvest: 22 stainless steel vats of 250 hectoliters each, for a total capacity of 500,000 liters of wine per year. The château's cuvées are then selected according to ageing: stainless steel vat, barrel or amphora.
The tour ends with a tasting of 3 Château de Seguin cuvées.
This tour is not recommended for people with reduced mobility. The vitishow tour is more suitable.
