Located on the outskirts of Bordeaux, Château Picque Caillou is one of the last six urban vineyards in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. A true haven of nature in the heart of the Bordeaux metropolitan area, the estate invites you to enjoy a unique wine tourism experience combining heritage, viticulture, fine wine tasting, and the discovery of a historic 18th-century château.

Our wine tourism offers

Visit the vineyard and cellars, and taste our wines in the castle's reception rooms.

During a one-hour guided tour, delve into the history of Château Picque Caillou and discover the secrets of making our Pessac-Léognan appellation wines.

Your guide will accompany you through:

• The vineyards of the estate and the discovery of the terroir of Pessac-Léognan;
• Winegrowing practices and vineyard work throughout the year;
• The vat room and the aging cellars;
• The stages of winemaking and wine aging;
• The 18th century castle and its rich architectural heritage.

The visit concludes with a guided tasting of four wines in the elegant salons of the castle, a special moment to chat with your guide and deepen your knowledge of Bordeaux wines.
