Sit down at the bar-restaurant open in summer to order an ice cream or a smoothie, while for an aperitif, it is the draft beers and glasses of Médoc and Bordeaux wine that are unanimously popular. Simple dishes such as quiches, pizzas, tapas or fries can be enjoyed on site or to take away, while when you wake up, it's breakfast that will delight your taste buds. A convenience store and the daily market in Montalivet in high season also allow you to stock up on ingredients for cooking. How good it is to get away!

A mixed experience at this campsite, on a human scale that allows you to relax, unlike a camping village. However, the campsite isn't worthy of a 4-star rating... even though it has great potential. Cons: - A point of attention should be noted regarding the general cleaning of common areas (showers, washing-up sinks, etc.). - Quite far from amenities (3 km from Vendays, which is nevertheless well-equipped: pharmacy, bakery, snack bar, etc., and about 6 km from the beach). - No management: no night watchman, no rules (no time limits on playgrounds, screaming children late into the evening, etc.), campers are left to their own devices, sinks clogged for a few days, the entrance gate broken for almost two weeks... perhaps there's a shortage of staff? - Very poor signal in the campsite and Wi-Fi with a very expensive package. - The pool is not heated and is not a decent size. - Aging common areas. Pros: - Quiet campsite away from everyday noise. - Snack bar/bar with seating and TV. - Free facilities for playing ping-pong, Connect 4, pétanque, books, etc. - The pitches are spacious and mostly shaded (really very pleasant!) - Hot water (no mixer tap to adjust the temperature, however). - The campsite staff is pleasant. I still recommend this campsite, despite the relatively high price compared to others and their amenities.

This campsite doesn't deserve a 4-star rating and it's way too expensive for what it offers. I was there for 3 weeks in August. Small, unheated pool, even in cloudy weather (even though it's marked heated in the service), no lifeguards, ball games, free-diving, everyone does what they want in the pool, no one's watching. No Wi-Fi and nothing gets a signal (neither TV nor phone). Even though Wi-Fi is marked in the service and included in the package. The bathrooms are old, the toilets and showers are together, not great. No mixer tap to adjust the water temperature in the showers or sinks. Housekeeping is not great. The walls haven't been washed, nor the door, no smell of products right after they've been used, almost never any handwashing products. I think the floors are just cleaned. Toilet bins not emptied after each use... sinks are often clogged, barrier at the entrance doesn't work. At night and even during the day, there is no one to enforce the rules or calm the noise at night... cars come and go at any time of the night. Very loud noises and parties of some at all hours or very early in the morning and no manager or guard to manage this. Lack of staff The only positive thing about this campsite is the pitches which are large and some very well shaded. Family campsite
