The unmissable “Monta” market

It is known by locals and holidaymakers alike, it is a large-scale market, one of the most beautiful in the Médoc and even in the department! Park your car as close as possible and don't forget the basket for your shopping and come on an empty stomach. There are 3 beaches in Vendays-Montalivet . It's easy: The South Beach (CHM beach), Central Beach and the North Beach (ACM beach). 12km of coastline with 4 lifeguard posts for swimming in the summer season (from April for the North and Central beaches). Do not neglect these areas and stay between the flags, because these marked locations ensure that you do not find yourself stuck in baïnes (sandbanks which create a lift phenomenon to take you out to sea). The central square is the easiest to access for families, it is located at the end of Avenue de l'Océan, where there are shops, restaurants and boutiques.
