Le Cloître des Cordeliers Guided wine tours in the heart of Saint-Émilion

French version: The Cloître des Cordeliers, dating from the 14th century and listed as a Historical Monument, is located in the heart of Saint-Émilion. Since 1892, sparkling wines have been produced there according to the traditional method, within three kilometers of underground galleries.

Three discovery packages are offered:

• Guided walking tour (1 hour – €16.50/person): historical tour of the cloister and descent 20 meters underground into the galleries, with a presentation of the Crémant de Bordeaux production process. The tour concludes with a tasting of the three cuvées accompanied by a Saint-Émilion macaron (juice for children).
• Guided tour by electric tuk-tuk (1 hour – €30/adult): ride through the panoramas of Saint-Émilion and its vineyards, followed by a descent into the galleries and a tasting identical to that of the walking tour.
• Electric bike rental (€30 half-day, €40 full day, €70 two days, €100 three days): free exploration of the vineyard landscapes with bikes equipped with insulated panniers, helmets, locks and smartphone holder.

In addition to these activities, the Cloître des Cordeliers also offers a bar with wines, cocktails, and picnic baskets. A concept store awaits you in the heart of their former church. From May to the end of August, festive summer evenings are organized every Friday (jazz concert) and Saturday (DJ set), with free admission.
