    • Awarded the " Maison des Illustres " label in 2016, the Château Toulouse-Lautrec invites you to immerse yourself in the world of the illustrious painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec , through an experience in what was his former family home before he died there at the age of 37, on September 9, 1901.

      VISIT "THE ARTIST'S REFUGE TOULOUSE-LAUTREC"

Discover the soul of the Château through those who brought it to life for five centuries. Walk in the footsteps of its most famous resident, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. After months of work and excess in the bohemian Montmartre scene, he would recharge his batteries here with his mother in the summer. It was here that he set up his studio.

Accompanied by the Château's guide, you will explore the former apartments of the painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, learning about his life as a child and as an adult. You will gain insight into the man and experience the artist firsthand. You will also discover some thirty original works by Toulouse-Lautrec in the Originals Room, including sketches, posters, and lithographs.

One-hour guided tour, including access to the exhibition "Château Toulouse-Lautrec: the history of a place, the soul of a wine, the character of an artist" in the art gallery located on the first floor of the shop.

The Château also offers the opportunity to discover the historic residence with a cultural stroll (self-guided visit), outside of guided tour times.

To enhance your Château experience, take advantage of the wine tour with the Discovery Pass at a special rate, which includes both tours and a tasting of the estate's wines. A tasting only, after the cultural tour, is also available. Numerous cultural and musical events are held at the Château throughout the year.

Awarded the "Vineyards & Discoveries" label, the Château is open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday.

An absolutely delightful visit with a charming guide who made the experience fascinating by sharing not only anecdotes about the painter's life but also information about the society of the time... Not to mention the explanations of the estate's different wines 😉. A big thank you. Laurence

On a bike tour, and on a whim, we stopped in for a wine tasting. Anna could not have been more gracious and gave us a lovely tasting. As we were about to depart, the heavens opened up and it began to pour. We asked if there might be a spot we could eat some sandwiches that we had packed. To our surprise, Anna let us to a formal dining room, and put out china plates for us to eat our humble sandwiches. We could not have been more surprised or delighted. When we finished our lunch, she asked if we would like to see where the wine was made! We were able to meet the team, and try the lovely peach and plum tart that Anna had just baked. To say this was the highlight of our trip would be an understatement. Merci beaucoup to the team and we will remember you always.
