    • Château La Rose Monturon, an authentic family story in the heart of Saint-Émilion

Château La Rose Monturon is above all the story of Myriam and Stéphane—a story of passion, audacity, and legacy. The daughter and granddaughter of winemakers, Myriam took over part of the family vineyard with her husband in 2005. A tractor, three vats, a few barrels in a cramped garage: it was with this raw and sincere enthusiasm that their adventure began in Saint-Émilion. Two years later, new buildings gave their dream a decisive boost. Today, Château La Rose Monturon is recognized as one of the most endearing and authentic family estates in the greater Saint-Émilion appellation, driven by a simple yet profound philosophy: preserve, respect, and enhance.

Château La Rose Monturon, a mosaic of terroirs for exceptional wines in the Saint-Émilion appellation

The secret of Château La Rose Monturon lies in the uniqueness of its terroirs. Each plot possesses its own microclimate, its own character, its own identity—soil, grape variety, climate: so many nuances that Myriam and Stéphane interpret with finesse to create authentic, expressive wines deeply connected to their land. The blending of these unique plots becomes the château's signature: wines that tell their story, a sincere, human story rooted in the heart of one of Bordeaux's most prestigious appellations. From the vineyard to the cellar, every action is carefully considered to protect the natural balance and reveal the purity of the Saint-Émilion terroir.

Château La Rose Monturon: six unique wine tourism experiences to enjoy with family or fellow enthusiasts.

Because wine is above all about pleasure and sharing, Myriam and Stéphane have opened the doors of their estate through six memorable experiences, available year-round by reservation. The Authentic Tour immerses visitors from the vineyard to the barrel cellar in a one-hour discovery. The Farm Feast offers a gourmet picnic with local products and wines from the château —either a Land-based option featuring duck or a River-based option featuring lamprey and catfish. The Winemaker's Walk takes groups of 6 to 20 people on a 5- to 10-km hike through landscapes listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Gourmet Wine Break combines a tour and lunch featuring fine charcuterie, cheeses, and Saint-Émilion wine. The Winemaker's Workshop reveals the secrets of aging wine in oak barrels in the underground cellar. Finally, the Signature Workshop allows everyone to create and take home their own personalized half-bottle.
