It was in 1998 that Jacqueline and Jean-Jacques Sioen fell under the spell of La Marzelle. Occupying 17 hectares on the Haute Terrasse of Saint-Émilion, our estate enjoys an exceptional terroir, shaped by the ancient bed of the Isle, and became the cradle of remarkable wines. The Sioen family's ardent passion for viticulture is manifested in the meticulous care of the vineyard. The transition to organic farming, initiated upon purchase of the estate and formalized in 2020, underlines our commitment to the preservation of our ecosystem.

Today under the leadership of Jean-Charles Joris, the third generation, Château La Marzelle continues to strive for excellence, while scrupulously ensuring respect for the environment. The philosophy of our estate, placing the quality of the grape at the heart of each cuvée, celebrates a perfect symbiosis between terroir, tradition and modernity, an approach which, anchored in the tradition of the Grands Crus, confirms the belief of the Sioen family: an exceptional wine is born from a quality grape.
