One of Bordeaux's 6 emblematic gates, it is located on Place de la Victoire, formerly Place Saint Julien (like Porte Aquitaine, which was called Porte Saint Julien). Built in 1753, it gives access to the Rue Saint Catherine, a veritable Arc de Triomphe with a wealth of details.
