The Frac Nouvelle-Aquitaine MECA

Supporting contemporary creation by building up a collection of works of art to bring it to the attention of as many people as possible, such is the commitment that founded the DNA of Frac Aquitaine in 1982, renamed Frac Nouvelle-Aquitaine. MÉCA in February 2019. Combining dissemination and mediation, collection and production missions as close as possible to the artists, the Frac develops an artistic program with a set of partners in the territory, which takes the form of inventive actions and moments to share around the works throughout the year.

Wednesday to Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. – free on the 1st Sunday of the month 3rd Thursday of the month: 1 p.m. - 9 p.m., free for under 26s.
