The Canal de Garonne is the portion of the Canal des Deux Mers that connects Toulouse to Bordeaux. This large canal which crosses France and connects the Mediterranean to the Atlantic Ocean is bordered by a greenway which allows for beautiful hiking and cycling. If the canal is already an exceptional construction, the spaces that surround it are natural and often preserved. The Canal joins the Garonne river at Castets-en-Dorthe, thanks to a last lock.
