At the eastern end of Entre-deux-Mers , lies the Dropt Valley. Having its source in the Dordogne, the Dropt is a tributary of the Garonne. He finished his race in Gironde. Along its last stretch of the Garonne, it flows into the river at Caudrot. The Dropt hosts the very rare European mink and a fish considered vulnerable, the Toxostome. Preserving this valley is therefore essential. You will take bucolic walks there, in a green environment, but be discreet to save these animals.
