The Cloître des Cordeliers, dating back to the 14th century and listed as a Historic Monument, is located in the heart of Saint-Émilion.
Since 1892, sparkling wines have been crafted here using the traditional method, within three kilometers of underground galleries. Open continuously 7 days a week with no reservation required, the bar invites guests to enjoy a glass of Crémant de Bordeaux, a refined cocktail, or a carefully selected spirit, either in the gardens or beneath the Gothic arches of the cloister.
The dining offer includes self-composed picnic baskets (vegetable spreads, pâtés, cured sausages…), artisanal ice creams, and homemade crêpes. The setting is equally suited to an impromptu gourmet break or a convivial moment with friends or family.
In addition, the Cloître des Cordeliers also offers guided tours on foot or by electric tuk-tuk of its underground cellars, electric bike rentals, and a wine-themed concept store. From May to late August, festive summer evenings are held every Friday (jazz concert) and Saturday (DJ set), with free entry.
