    • Just 15 minutes from Saint-Emilion, Château La Rose Perrière is one of the oldest properties in the Lussac Saint-Émilion appellation. Spanning 14 hectares, our human-scale estate has embraced wine tourism, offering tours, stays, and seminars to share its expertise, passion for the terroir, and idyllic setting.

The castle opens its doors to enthusiasts for tours of its vineyards, wine cellar and gardens.
The visits are followed by a tasting.

There are several types of tours and workshops available:

      • Oak: In addition to the Discovery Tour, you will learn all the secrets of our barrel making.
      • Immersive blending workshops: Become a winemaker for the duration of an immersive workshop where you'll try your hand at the art of wine blending. You'll taste different grape varieties and then, equipped with test tubes and pipettes, you'll create your own cuvée, one that will delight your palate.

      An exceptional green setting

The owner, Jean-Luc Sylvain's, appreciation for aesthetics is evident even in the gardens that grace the property. With over 200 plants and flowers that change with the seasons, the gardens have been laid out in a French style. At Château La Rose Perrière, the gardens are like paintings, where harmonies, contrasts, and balances enhance the vineyards.

A vineyard that blends into its environment

We are proud to have obtained the High Environmental Value ( HVE) operating certification !

We launched this initiative because we firmly believe that the vineyard must be integrated into its environment for the well-being of the vines, the people, and the site. To further this commitment, Château La Rose Perrière has begun its conversion to organic farming and will be certified in 2023. This conversion is the culmination of a philosophy that has been deeply rooted in our practices for many years.

Characterful wines crafted with passion and precision

Lussac Saint-Émilion, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux Blanc, or Bordeaux Rosé —these are the appellations you can taste at Château La Rose Perrière. All our wines are produced with a signature that represents our "ideal wine." Our work lies in understanding and mastering our terroir. We strive to harvest late so that the grapes' ripeness is enhanced by the freshness imparted by the terroir. Our Merlots ripen without ever over-ripening. It is thanks to our expertise that we are able to produce wines of exceptional quality with a true identity.

Excellent place! I highly recommend it after spending two nights there. We received a wonderful welcome and impeccable, very professional service from Marion, who took great care of us (delicious breakfast). The room was air-conditioned, and the bathroom was spacious. Absolutely top-notch!!!
