First, upon arrival, we noticed a cypress tree completely scorched by the sun, a point that seems to have already been mentioned in some reviews published in 2025. This gives the impression that no action has been taken despite previous comments. This is regrettable, especially since we were supposed to be in an exceptional location. To begin with, the mocktail served was excessively sweet. Next, we ordered two "Surf & Turf" dishes, but the requested red meat was not cooked to our liking. Furthermore, one of the two half-lobsters served was more the size of a large shrimp than a lobster, which is particularly surprising for a €95 dish. Moreover, several shortcomings in the service significantly impacted our experience: * The menus remained on the table after we ordered; * No suitable equipment was provided for eating the lobster: neither pliers for cracking the claws nor a special fork for scooping out the meat. No finger bowls were offered; we had to ask for them. * When we ordered a "café gourmand" (a selection of small pastries), the petits fours were served, and the coffee arrived five minutes later, which completely negates the appeal of this option, especially considering the small size of the pastries (only four bites). * The table was not cleaned between courses. * The table lamps were not turned on by the staff when it started getting dark. We had to turn them on ourselves, as did the customers at the next table, which reinforces the overall impression of a lack of attention to service. Despite everything, we appreciated the friendliness of the staff, the starter (wagyu carpaccio), and the interior decor. However, the accumulation of the points mentioned above significantly detracted from our experience and gave an overall impression of inattention and inadequate service. The service clearly fell short of our expectations, and did not meet the standard one would expect from an establishment of this caliber. This experience was particularly disappointing, and unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Despite the very fanfare presentation of the restaurant and the high expectations, the food itself was quite underwhelming. If you are used to genuinely good Japanese cuisine, I would honestly come here for the drinks rather than the food The cocktails, however, were excellent, special respect to the bartender, the person clearly knows what they’re doing. Very solid wine list as well. In the end, this place is more about atmosphere, drinks and a beautiful evening than strong Japanese cuisine)

We were really looking forward to eating at this restaurant, which is advertised as a gastronomic and culinary experience. But what a disappointment... We were warmly welcomed and seated in the lovely patio. Everyone was very attentive at first, and we thought we were going to be pampered. But it didn't last long. We arrived at 8:30 pm and opted for the tasting menu, which included a cocktail, a mocktail, and two bottles of water (they didn't even offer carafes of water). The sashimi and gyoza were good, but not exceptional. The seared sushi, however, was a real discovery and very tasty! We waited two hours until then, which is already a bit long. We waited over 45 minutes for our main course... I think they forgot about us, and we waited until after 11 pm. For our main courses, my partner ordered the Black Cog. The portion was very small and extremely salty (almost inedible). It's a shame, especially since Japanese cuisine strives for a subtle balance of tastes and flavors. As for the pear dessert, it's a real shame it was encased in such thick meringues; it ruined the taste, in my opinion. The total came to €203, which is excessively expensive for the dishes served. We had a €75 gift voucher, so we only paid €128. I think €128 would have been a more appropriate price for what was offered (although still too expensive). The wait was interminable. Three hours to eat! Luckily, we had no plans afterward... In short, the promise was enticing, but we felt like we'd been sold a dream... especially for a restaurant of this caliber. This is the first time we've checked Google reviews after leaving, and among the 5-star comments, there are indeed a number of reviews like ours. We were surprised by the number of positive reviews, given our experience and similar comments. Go elsewhere and try a real gourmet restaurant; it will be cheaper and you won't be disappointed.
