La Pointe de Grave Nature Reserve in Le Verdon-sur-Mer

Pointe de Grave is the northern end of the Médoc. This cape slightly closes the Gironde estuary , marking, depending on the tide, the entry of the ocean into the land and the exit of river waters. It is also the starting point for this fabulous “Silver Coast” and its Ocean Beaches. It faces the sandbank which "floats" in the sea, carrying the Cordouan Lighthouse. It is an extraordinary place and a paradise for photographers!
