- The Ciron is a tributary of the Garonne. It has its source in the Landes de Gascogne. It digs its bed in the Haute-Lande girondine , thus forming the Valley and the Gorges du Ciron , before finishing its course in the Garonne , at the Port of Barsac. The Ciron Valley is characterized by lush vegetation, with a very dense forest cover, overlooking the river.
