    • Château Grangey, a little paradise on earth for wine tourism in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation

In Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, on a hillside overlooking the Barbanne —a stream that marks the northern boundary of the Saint-Émilion appellation, a UNESCO World Heritage SiteChâteau Grangey is recognized by its visitors as one of the most genuine and human wine tourism experiences in the greater Saint-Émilion region. A family estate since 1953, and in the hands of the Mio family for three generations, it is now run by Franck, Élodie, Yannick, and Matthieu, a close-knit team whose philosophy can be summed up in a few words: authenticity, conviviality, and commitment. Certified organic, the vineyard extends across five plots with evocative names— Le Cerisier (The Cherry Tree), Le Pigeonnier (The Dovecote), Le Pré (The Meadow), Le Chai (The Cellar), and Les Bouchets (The Butts )—each with its own microclimate, character, and unique identity.

Château Grangey : four tour and tasting experiences for all levels of enthusiasts.

Château Grangey offers four distinct tours, all by reservation, to suit every visitor's preferences and style. "From Earth to Grape, From Grape to Wine" is a discovery tour of the family estate, immersing visitors in the heart of the vineyard and offering a tasting of four wines. "A Journey Through Time," a private experience, invites enthusiasts to explore the evolution of a single wine across several vintages —a vertical tasting highly recommended by regular visitors. Finally, "The Soul of Grangey" is the most exclusive experience: guided personally by the estate owner, it offers a unique encounter with six wines and an hour and a half of total immersion in the world of the property. Tours are available in French, English, and Spanish.
