    • In the heart of Blaye, a 10-minute walk from the Vauban Citadel (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site), lies Le Clos Réaud: a tastefully restored 18th-century house set in a green setting of over 5,000 m2.

Our suites are all different, quiet, and close to the pool. Spacious (30 to 60m²), they all have large beds (160 or 180 cm) for optimal comfort. With some exceptions, they are air-conditioned and have an outdoor space. They are decorated with objects found during our travels or at local flea markets and combine the charm of the French Art de Vivre with modern, high-quality amenities.

Breakfast is, like us, convivial and generous. Our guests gather around a large table to discover our sweet and savory buffet and chat with our visitors from around the world. Those who prefer a romantic moment can enjoy it in the garden while listening to the birdsong.

Le Clos Réaud is ideal for relaxing : a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna, and a wide range of traditional Indian massages are available on-site upon reservation.

Whether you're looking for an original destination for a romantic weekend, or a unique vacation spot to explore the region, come see us for an exceptional stay combining culture, nature, and well-being.

      Le Clos Réaud offers you:

      AN EXCEPTIONAL SETTING

Less than an hour from Bordeaux, Clos Réaud is an oasis in the heart of the city. Park your car in our secure parking lot and explore Blaye: the Citadel, wine bars, restaurants, the local market... everything is within walking distance.

The wooded and landscaped park offers multiple spaces where you can meet in complete tranquility for a glass of our vintage wine or an aperitif platter in a green setting.

      CHARMING ACCOMMODATION

Our accommodations have been designed to make you feel at home. Each suite has its own unique personality, but they all share high-end amenities and careful attention to the selection of linens, furniture, and decorative items, as well as the overall harmony of the room. Le Clos Réaud offers:

      • 8 double suites + 1 family suite (4 people)
      • Style and charm: unique decor in each suite
      • Comfort above all: Large beds (160 or 180 cm), air conditioning, walk-in showers, refrigerator, welcome tray...
      • Outdoor spaces for the majority of suites.

      ATTENTIVE HOSTS

We are proud and happy to welcome you to our home and we want you to leave rested and with beautiful memories, which is why we are here to help you before and during your stay. Franco-Australian, we are professional but relaxed! We love sharing with you to help you discover our beloved and adopted region.

      WELL-BEING SERVICES ON SITE

If you want to 'take a break' and recharge your batteries, there's no need to look elsewhere; we offer a range of relaxing activities in the comfort of Clos Réaud.

      • Heated outdoor swimming pool (seasonal)
      • 6-seater indoor jacuzzi
      • 6-seater Scandinavian sauna
      • Traditional Indian massages to soothe the body and mind

      FULL OF DISCOVERIES

Nice room, quiet, romantic with a beautiful bathroom. Maybe a little damp. We were not able to use the swimming pool because it was already in winter. The welcome was very friendly and the breakfast perfect.

Fantastic stay. We were blown away by the room we stayed in - stone-walled, amazing decor, most comfortable bed ever, and just 10 steps from the swimming pool. It was a hidden gem. And the hosts were...

Everything is simply right in this B&B: the facilities, the breakfast, the location, the owners and the price. I would take quite a long detour to be able to enjoy Stephane & Christine's hospitality...
