- In the Médoc, the Contaut Lagoon stretches north of Lac d'Hourtin , behind the dune ridge of the large Pin Sec beach. To explore this very fragile wetland, without damaging it, a wooden walkway has been built. The site is therefore accessible to all types of audiences. The lagoon is part of the Hourtin Dunes and Marshes Nature Reserve. This constantly evolving ecosystem brings a wealth of information to its protectors and makes it possible to organize activities and visits, on a wide variety of themes.
