    • Château de la Verrière, committed wine producers in Gironde

It is near the border between the Dordogne and the Gironde that the Bressette family has cultivated vines with passion since 1960. Located in Landerrouat, the estate also raised cows before turning solely to wine production. Come and meet winegrowers with a big heart, who combine quality with respect for the environment and their terroir.

Château de la Verrière, eco-responsible wine producers near Bordeaux

Quality is the priority for Alain and Dolorès who have been doing everything they can for years to develop the estate. Good wine yes, but not at all costs! The environment and people are the pillars of their production. This is why they have joined the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) network and organize meetings between colleagues and local residents. Even the equipment is adapted for the comfort of the employees, as with the high-end comfortable tractors. Certified ISO 14001 and HVE3 (High Environmental Value), they have also been turning to organic farming for a few years, a change which will be official next year. Forgetting about pollutants, respecting nature, limiting yields and operating with reasoned conduct , that's for sure, the wine is of high quality.

Château de la Verrière, innovative producers at the gates of Bergerac

Since 1960, the estate has continued to evolve with modern and quality equipment. Temperature control in all vats, pneumatic press, micro-oxygenation, automatic optical sorting of seeds and automatic winding to gently extract tannin, the wine is well treated at Château de la Verrière. The pleasure of work remains complete in October, when the harvest by hand is organized. Over 2 to 3 days, the picking and sorting of the grapes is done standing in the vines, a moment of sharing and complicity where you can participate. Take the opportunity to visit the vineyard and shop in the producer's shop where wines, honeys and goodies are on offer. Leave with quality products, you will love.

We have visited Chateau Verriere each time we stay in the Pellegrue area on holiday. Lovely team members, tasting and great value, quality product. We bought reds, whites and rose. We still have a few bottles to finish off before we visit again later this year. Very happy to recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Yesterday we went to buy wine at Château La Verrière, a very warm and professional welcome, a wine tasting, rosé, red excellent to drink in moderation. For barbecues this summer, this rosé wine will delight the meal. To discover and taste quickly. Thank you for your kindness. Rochelais with daughter near Bordeaux.
